The Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists
The Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists was founded in 1912 and has grown to nearly 3,000 members. PCSO is comprised of component organizations and is the largest constituent organization of the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr Riolo attended the meeting in Anaheim CA and at that meeting was elected to the board of Washingtion State Society of Orthodontists, WSSO which is one of the component organizations of the PCSO.
This PCSO meeting in Anaheim was a joint meeting with the World Implant Orthodontic Conference (WIOC). Drs Riolo and Bayirli spend their time keeping abreast of the latest in orthodontic technology. Dr Riolo has a special interest in the use of TAD’s (Temporary Anchorage Devices) in custom lingual orthodontics. Dr Bayirli spend her time reviewing the latest developments in accelerated orthodontics and early orthodontic treatment for children.
The meeting was not all work, the kids also went to the PCSO and they spent time at Disneyland! We are looking forward to the World Incognito (custom lingual braces) users meeting in Orlando where Dr Riolo will be meeting with some of the most experienced users of the Incognito custom bracket system.
